R1 Basic : The entry point into the R1 platform. 24 DOF, 8-core CPU, remote control operation out of the box. No secondary development or onboard AI compute. Ideal for demonstrations, motion studies, and classroom use. 8-month warranty. R1 EDU (U1, 40 Tops) : Adds an NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX at 40 Tops and full secondary development support. 26 DOF including a 2 DOF articulated head. Supports high and low level control development, Isaac SIM, robot simulation interfaces, and comprehensive SDK access. 12-month warranty. R1 EDU Pro (U2 to U6, 100 Tops) : The most capable R1 configuration. 100 Tops onboard compute, 26 body DOF expanding to 38 or 40 total DOF with dexterous hands.
