A double block puts two sheaves in one housing, which is what you reach for when you are building a mainsheet, kicker or control system that needs a bit more purchase than a single will give. Matching the block to a becket or swivel head lets you build a system that runs freely and leads the rope exactly where you want it. We stock double blocks from Harken, Allen and PolarWave in sizes from 16mm up to 57mm, so you can match the block to your rope diameter and the loads it will carry. That covers lightweight Harken Air and Carbo blocks and PolarWave tie on blocks for dinghy control systems, higher load Zircon, high load and extreme high load blocks for bigger loads, and versions with beckets, swivels, soft attachments and traveller fittings so you can build the exact system your boat needs.
