Dyneema shackles are made from Gottifredi Maffioli compact braid 12 strand dyneema or Swiftcord rope. The benefit of using a rope shackle over metal shackle is that it is lightweight, strong and it will not cause damage to your boat like a metal shackle would. The dyneema shackles are very easy to open by hand so no need to hunt around for a shackle key each time.
