Kingfisher's Evolution range is the dinghy sailor's rope. Developed alongside top UK dinghy manufacturers and the racers who sail them, the Evolution lineup covers every job on a modern racing dinghy: halyards, sheets, control lines, kickers, downhauls, outhauls and tapered spinnaker sheets. This is the umbrella collection for the whole range, so you can compare constructions side by side before picking the right rope for the job. The Evolution lineup splits into a few clear groups. Evolution Race is the workhorse: a Dyneema SK78 core inside a hard wearing polyester cover, ideal for halyards, kickers and high load control lines. Evolution Performance is the all-polyester equivalent for lower load control lines where Dyneema is overkill. Evolution Sheet has a polypropylene core inside a polyester cover, lightweight and floaty for mainsheets and jib sheets that get adjusted constantly. Evolution Breeze is the continuous splice rope with a Technora cover for high-friction applications. Evolution Splice and Evolution Taper handle specialist jobs on spinnaker sheets and tapered halyards. Most Evolution ropes come in 3mm, 4mm, 5mm and 6mm diameters, which covers nearly every line on a Topper, ILCA, RS Aero, RS200, RS400, RS800 or any other modern dinghy.
