Mi & Gei is a design-forward hardware studio crafting distinctive pieces that blend art and utility. Each pull, knob, and accessory is imagined with a sculptural lens, emphasizing bold silhouettes, nuanced textures, and timeless materials. The studio draws inspiration from unexpected sources: the curve of a vintage chair, the edge of a tile, the rhythm of shadow and light. Every detail is considered, resulting in hardware that feels both elevated and deeply personal. In a world dominated by mass production, the studio deliberately breaks away from mechanical precision. Each form begins its life as a hand-modeled clay sculpture. These clay forms are then carved in wood, transformed into sand-casting or lost-wax molds. When molten brass flows into these molds, it carries the poetic imprint of human touch, resulting in pieces imbued with unique character and tacticality.
