About
A perennial must have for favourite spring dishes. If you have fond memories of rhubarb pies and other tasty rhubarb treats, then your veggie garden won’t be complete without a few of these perennial plants. As with all things gardening, longer lived plants do take longer to give you a crop – but then reward you with years of delicious produce. The vigorous, seed-grown rhubarb crowns you’ll grow can be divided in four to five years for a rejuvenated harvest. Note: only rhubarb leaf stems are edible. Do not eat the leaves.
