Our Selection of Wooden Tonfa The wooden weapons proposed by Seido are manufactured by one of the last traditional workshops in the south of Japan, in the region of Miyakonojo (Kyushu) (learn more about the workshops on our Artisans Presentation Page ). Our Tonfa are all produced by the Aramaki workshop, which has the most extensive catalog for those weapons. The Tonfa is a Japanese weapon mainly used in Okinawan Kobudo and Karate , and as the Nunchaku, it developed from a farmer tool, a millstone handle. Tonfa are mostly used in pairs , however, we offer you the option to buy them by unit so that you can replace a single damaged piece.
