Wonderfully fragrant of anise, especially enjoyable after a soft rain releases fragrant oils within the leaves, agastache is also a favorite of bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. It grows best in well-drained to even sandy or gritty soils in areas with more rainfall and winter wet soil. Lavender and coneflowers make perfect planting companions.
