Shop upright basses (also called double basses or string basses) for every stage, from student outfits recommended by orchestra directors to carved professional instruments. We carry sizes from 1/10 to 3/4: beginner basses start at $2,349, intermediate basses are a step up in tone and build, and advanced basses start around $5,300. Every bass is set up by our luthiers in Ann Arbor before it ships, so it arrives ready to play.
