Road and track leather suits target EN 17092 AAA abrasion ratings and carry CE Level 2 armour at shoulders, elbows and knees for the higher abrasion of sealed surfaces. MX gear pairs a vented jersey with separate chest and knee guards, where CE Level 1 protectors are common and CE Level 2 offers the higher impact threshold. Helmets across this range meet ECE 22.06, the current European standard with around 50% more impact test points than the prior 22.05 and a 6 metre per second oblique impact test.
