About

Action camera mounts hold your camera locked to the bike through vibration and road shock. This range spans handlebar ball mounts, helmet adapters and model-specific brackets from RAM Mounts, Innovv, Cube and Oxford, so your GoPro stays steady across sport, adventure and touring rides without rattle or drift. How to choose a motorcycle camera mount The right mount comes down to where you film and how the camera attaches. RAM Mounts use a rubber ball-and-socket system that absorbs vibration before it reaches the lens, with the 25.4mm (1in) B-ball being the common action camera size. Cube X-Guard and Oxford Cliqr use quarter-turn locks rated for one-handed swaps in under 5 seconds. Innovv brackets are model-specific, machined to bolt directly to BMW frames and K3 or K5 hardwired systems. Standard motorcycle handlebars measure 22.2mm (7/8in) or 25.4mm (1in), and a U-bolt mount spans the 12.7mm to 31.8mm range to fit both. Helmet mounts add stability with 3M VHB adhesive bases rated to hold loads over 1kg. For a hardwired dash-cam setup, an Innovv dual-channel unit pairs front and rear with the rear bracket mounted on the tail. Mounting position matters Handlebar and frame mounts give the smoothest footage because they sit on the rigid chassis. Helmet mounts follow your head for point-of-view angles but add roughly 60g to 90g of offset weight, so a low-profile Oxford Cliqr disc keeps it tidy. Always thread-lock metal fasteners and torque to spec so nothing shakes loose at speed. Related: Adventure Helmets · All GPS · Garmin GPS
