Cardo-powered helmet communication keeps riders connected without taking hands off the bars. This range covers Leatt and LS2 systems running Cardo Bluetooth, from single units to duo kits built for road and adventure use. Pair-to-call, music streaming and rider-to-rider talk are standard across these mesh and Bluetooth units. Choosing a Cardo-powered intercom A helmet intercom is the single biggest comfort upgrade for group and touring riders. This Leatt and LS2 range splits across two Cardo platforms: Packtalk Edge units running Dynamic Mesh Communication and Freecom 4X units running Bluetooth. Both stream audio, take calls and link riders, but they differ on group size and how they reconnect when a rider drops out. Bluetooth chains stay simple and run well for 2 to 4 riders within line of sight. A duo kit fits 2 helmets, while a single unit covers 1 rider who can still bridge to a second headset later. Match the microphone to your helmet shell before you ride. Full-face and modular shells take a slim wired microphone, while open chin-bar adventure helmets use a corded boom mic. Both mount on a 40 mm clamp base or an adhesive base, so most ECE 22.06 rated shells from 54 cm XS through to 64 cm XXL are covered. Your helmet does the impact work to its own certification, while EN 17092 AAA, AA and A garments and CE Level 1 or Level 2 armour protect the body. The intercom only handles audio. Charge to 100 percent before a long day and expect roughly 13 hours of talk time per full cycle.
