The first number is section width in mm, the second is aspect ratio as a percentage of that width, and the final figure is rim diameter in inches. A 160/60ZR17 rear is 160mm wide at 60% profile on a 17 inch rim, rated 69W for up to 270 km/h. Speed letters run H to 210 km/h, W to 270 km/h.
