About

Casual hoodies are your everyday off-bike layer for the workshop, the cafe stop and the cold walk to the garage. We stock Leatt zip hoodies and AS COLOUR blank pullovers in heavyweight cotton-blend fleece, with zip-front and over-the-head cuts in a full run of sizes from small through to double extra large. Casual riding hoodies are off-bike lifestyle layers, not protective kit. None of these hoodies carry an EN 17092 abrasion rating or hold CE Level 1 or CE Level 2 armour, so treat them as off-bike wear or as a mid-layer under a rated jacket. The decision comes down to closure style, fabric weight and fit. Style Closure Fabric weight guide Best for Leatt zip hoodie Full-length front zip Heavyweight, around 300 to 340 gsm Layering on and off over a tee AS COLOUR Supply pullover Over the head Heavyweight, around 300 to 340 gsm Warmth and a clean blank canvas AS COLOUR Relax pullover Over the head Mid to heavyweight, around 280 to 320 gsm A roomier, relaxed everyday fit Fabric weight decides warmth. A heavyweight fleece around 300 to 340 gsm traps far more heat than a 180 gsm summer tee, and brushed-back fleece adds softness against the skin. A typical cotton-rich blend sits near 80 percent cotton and 20 percent polyester, which keeps shrinkage low, usually under 5 percent after a 30 degree wash. For winter riding, add a base layer underneath and a rated jacket over the top. Fit follows intended use. The Relax cut runs roomier through the body for an oversized look, while a standard cut sits closer for a trimmer line. Sizes span 5 steps from S, M, L and XL through to XXL across both brands. A zip front layers on and off over a tee faster than a pullover and vents at the chest, while a pullover has fewer seams and a cleaner front. Ribbed cuffs around 5 to 7 cm deep help seal cold air out at the wrist.
