Adjustable Razors are unique in the fact that the blade gap can be increased or decreased by turning a dial. This allows you to fine-tune your razor to suit your beard growth on any given day. Usually 1 is the lowest (mildest) setting and 6 is the (highest) most aggressive setting. Some razors have a feature that allows you to flip or switch a plate to change the aggressiveness of your shave.
