Made with wind, seawater and thorns on the West Coast of Scotland Natural Scottish Sea Salt Flakes, produced gently and sustainably on the Scottish West Coast. Seawater is slowly trickled through the only working Thorn Tower in the UK- built by local craftsmen and packed with Blackthorn branches - whilst being evaporated by West Coast winds. Multi-award winning Blackthorn Salt is enjoyed by Michelin chefs, foodies, bakeries and delis across the UK. Harvested by hand, these natural crystals have a unique flavour profile, that is mineral-rich and bittersweet. It echoes the sea, but there is also a unique depth and mellowness which respects and elevates flavours allowing them to resonate with a lasting sensation of moreishness.
