About

Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV) for Garment Decorating Heat transfer vinyl is a colored film on a clear carrier sheet that you cut with a plotter, weed, and press onto fabric with heat and pressure. You will also see it sold as heat press vinyl or simply HTV; all three names describe the same material. It is the lowest-cost way to decorate short runs and one-offs, and it is still the backbone of most small apparel shops. This category carries heat transfer vinyl by the sheet and by the roll in standard, stretch, glitter, flock, reflective and printable constructions, in widths from 12 to 20 inches and lengths from 15 to 150 feet. EasyWeed Stretch and EcoStretch are the films for leggings, jerseys and athletic tees. Glitter HTV. A heavier film with embedded glitter that reads as texture at arm's length. Siser Glitter weeds differently from standard film and sits on top of a layered design, never underneath. Flock HTV. A raised, suede-textured finish for retro and premium-feel apparel. Logical Color flock is the specialty line here. Printable HTV. Media you print through an inkjet or laser first, then cut and press, so gradients, photographs and unlimited colors become possible. Puff and specialty. Films that expand under heat for a raised finish, plus metallic, holographic and patterned c
