About
Beach Blankets A beach towel works for one person for an hour. A beach blanket is meant to hold a group, a cooler, and a stack of towels for the whole afternoon — and that takes a sturdier weave than terrycloth. Our jacquard rugs are woven tight enough to give sand somewhere to fall through instead of grinding into loops of fabric. They fold flatter and pack smaller than a bath-towel-sized beach towel, so they take up less trunk space on the way there. Sand, Dune, and other warm neutral prints hide the inevitable sunscreen smudge better than white terrycloth ever will. Worth saying plainly: this is a woven fabric blanket, not a waterproof or sand-proof product. Shake it out before folding, same as you would any woven textile.
