Picnic Blankets A picnic blanket needs more structure than a bedsheet from the linen closet. Each one folds down small enough to live in a tote or the trunk between trips, and the weave shakes clean of crumbs and grass clippings instead of trapping them like a fuzzy throw would. Pick from earth-tone boho prints — Sand, Dune, Clay, Indigo — that hide grass stains better than a plain white cloth. One honest note: this is a woven fabric blanket, not a waterproof mat. On damp grass, put a tarp or ground sheet down first.
