About

Hitting consistently at a high level takes more reps than any game schedule provides. The batter training equipment at SPC Sports gives players the tools to build those reps on their own time, at the tee, in the cage, and in the backyard. We carry batting tees, hitting nets, cage bats, weighted training bats, training balls, ball caddies, and batter protection gear from Champro, Tanner, Bownet, Mizuno, EvoShield, PowerNet, Rawlings, and others for players from tee-ball age through adult competitive play. Batting Tees A batting tee is the most fundamental hitting tool in baseball and softball training. Every level of the game from tee-ball through Major League Baseball uses tee work as a core part of daily hitting preparation. A good tee is adjustable across the full height range of the strike zone, has a durable rubber or flexible tee top that absorbs repeated contact without splitting, and has a stable base that does not tip on a hard cut or miss. Champro's heavy-duty and high-impact tee models (B050 and B051) are among the best-built tees in the mid-range price point. The Tanner Tee Original is used in most professional organizations for its smooth height adjustment, flexible rubber tee top, and consistent feel across thousands of swings. For youth players, a two-tee setup is a common drill for keeping the barrel on plane through the zone. Hitting Nets A hitting net is the backstop that makes solo tee and soft-toss work practical. Bownet Big Mouth X nets (7x7 feet) are portable, easy to assemble, and built to take direct line-drive contact from full game swings without the frame bending. PowerNet nets provide similar quality at a slightly lower price point. For basement or garage setups where ceiling height is limited, a side-string barrier net prevents balls from rolling into walls. Cage Bats and Weighted Training Bats A cage bat is a training bat designed for use in a batting cage against machine pitches. The Mizuno CRBN1 series (in -8, -9, and -10 drop weights)
