About

Controlling vehicle access to some areas, like car parks, toll booths, and along roads, can be difficult and time-consuming. With the proper boom barrier system, however, access to an area can be efficiently controlled, often without the need for a supervising employee. Boom barriers are the most popular car park barrier in the world. They are seen everywhere because they are particularly suitable for this use. As they open vertically, swinging upwards on a vertical pivot (often including a counterweight for manual operation), they save a lot of space on the road compared to other access barriers. Some variants feature electric power sources, with options for batteries or solar panels. Manual barriers are ideal for roads and entrances where frequent opening and closing is unnecessary. They can be operated in the morning and left open until evening, or left closed as they see little traffic. Automatic barriers are best suited for high-traffic areas that are frequently opened and closed throughout the day.
