About
Cellular paving has many benefits over traditional hard surfaces. Sitting beneath the surface, these ground reinforcement systems provide structural support and allow rainwater to soak through naturally into the soil. This prevents excess water from running into the drains where it can cause flooding, making permeable paving a more environmentally-friendly solution than simply concreting over everything. If you’re creating a driveway or a patio area, cellular paving allows you to choose a grass or gravel surface that blends naturally into the surroundings. It’s also ideal for access roads through grassed areas, or for protecting the grass on a golf course. Grassed areas are often used as overflow parking at venues like service stations or theme parks. Permeable pavers prevent vehicles from churning up the surface after rainfall - which avoids a mud bath and keeps the grass looking good.
