Disposable masks are crucial to our RPE and PPE range. The disposable nature of these masks makes them ideal for exceptionally dirty tasks, or for one-off jobs that require you to wear a mask. You can easily keep them on hand or on the van. Our dust masks come with features such as exhalation valves, activated carbon layers, and various filtration standards such as FFP2 and FFP3 . The features you require will depend on the type of work you do when wearing disposable RPE. Disposable masks are appropriate for a range of scenarios, from food production to medical settings. For example, if you’re manufacturing fibreglass products like car body kits, they can protect you from fine glass splinters and dust when cutting, sanding, or shaping. Disposable RPE is also ideal for maintenance engineers who have to disturb rockwool insulation or old brick dust, and even for workers in nail salons who remove existing nail finishes using abrasive tools that release dust. Note: Disposable face masks cannot be used for asbestos removal and the filtering of organic and inorganic vapours.
