About

There are several types of hard hat inserts available: those that help you keep warm and those that help absorb perspiration. We hold stock of replacement sweatbands for most of our safety helmet range. Replacing a hard hat sweatband can refresh the hat's interior, making it more comfortable and potentially removing any odours that may have built up during the helmet use. Hard hat sweat liners typically are sited across the forehead of the wearer, mounted on the hat's suspension harness. The sweatband catches any sweat, keeping it from running down your face. When wearing a hard hat in cold weather, it is often tempting to flip up the hood of a hoody or wear a beanie under your helmet. Both of these solutions can alter the performance characteristics of your hard hat. A hoody can also reduce visibility to the sides, which can lead to otherwise avoidable accidents. Before buying, always make sure that the liner - whether it's a sweatband or a full-face warmer - is compatible with your helmet. Wearing guaranteed compatible item means that you won't be compromising your safety for comfort. Check the “compatible with” area on the individual product page.
