A solid flat bench creates a stable base for heavy barbell and dumbbell training. This range includes two fixed flat weight bench options: the Original Flat Bench with a 60 mm frame and the Riot Flat Bench with a heavier 75 mm frame. Both are built around IPF specifications and designed for consistent use under serious loads. Flat weight benches built for heavy training The Original Flat Bench uses a robust four-foot frame with a maximum load of 400 kg. Its simple construction provides a stable platform for home gyms, strength facilities and general free weight training. For heavier setups, the Riot Flat Bench steps up to a 75 mm frame, a three-foot design and a maximum load of 500 kg. The narrower front footprint also leaves more room around the feet when setting up on the bench. Both models are fixed. That keeps the construction straightforward and removes unnecessary adjustment mechanisms from the frame. A flat gym bench with the right pad setup Bench stability is only part of the setup. Pad shape and dimensions also affect positioning and contact with the bench during training. Depending on the model, the range includes Original, Competition and THICC pad options. This makes it possible to select a flat gym bench that matches the intended training environment, from compact home gym setups to dedicated strength facilities. For Olympic bars, plates and rack-based training, either bench can be combined with an appropriate rack or rig to create a complete free weight station. Flat bench or adjustable bench? A fixed flat workout bench is the straightforward option when incline or decline positions are not required. Its rigid frame is designed specifically around flat pressing and general horizontal bench work.
