Curt Mangan is a ‘small’ strings brand from Colorado built by a guitar player who previously spent almost 2-decades working for one of the world’s largest strings brands. These are strings developed from a player’s perspective and not just one of science - as we all know, playing guitar isn’t about tech and science, but feel, sound, and spontaneity. Curt Mangan strings have gained somewhat of a cult following over the last few years, and understandably so. They’re not coated or anything, and there’s no faff, just a decent hands-on manufacturing process with very specific, high-end materials which last really well. The feel is very much premium with a softness under finger, and the tone is bright, clear and a touch ‘fizzy’.
