Recommended PVC Tarp Uses You can fully cover items from the elements but still see them clearly. Instead of using colored tarps, you can use our clear PVC tarps. These translucent covers are often used outdoors in residential areas (patios, gardens, porches, backyard, and more). These PVC tarps are fire retardant. The substances treated on the tarps slow down the production of flames. So in case the material catches fire, it can either delay or stop the spread of fire. A tarp treated with fire retardants is mostly used for applications that have fire risks involved. Some applications require covers with a solid color. We do not recommend the PVC tarps for such applications. Check out the other vinyl tarps if you need colored tarps.
