About
Whether it’s a temporary structure going up, marquee securing, staging being installed, or equipment being transported between sites, you need kit that works consistently across the whole job. Across marquee builds and production setups, straps are used to secure loads in transit and then reused on-site during installation. That includes holding framework and materials in place during marquee erection, as well as securing stage decks, truss, lighting, sound equipment and general infrastructure. Flight cases, barriers, generators and flooring systems all need managing and stabilising at different stages of the job. Endless straps and webbing are widely used behind the scenes, bundling marquee poles, grouping equipment, managing cable runs and keeping materials organised where there are no fixed anchor points. Ratchet straps provide the higher restraint needed for transport and heavier items, while different hook types allow for flexibility depending on the setup and anchoring points available. White straps are often chosen for weddings, and marquee installs where they won’t stand out, while black straps are better suited to festivals and production environments where a lower visual profile is preferred. Custom webbing and printed straps are also available for companies looking to standardise or brand their setup. Image credit: White Villa Photography & Films. Used with permission.
