About
Howlite stone white stone with grey veins found in evaporite mineral deposits. When cut and polished, the stone takes on a glossy sheen, making it popular for use in jewelry and other decorative items. White Howlite is named after Henry How, a 19th-century mineralogist who first discovered it in Nova Scotia, Canada. White Howlite is sometimes referred to as White Turquoise.
