Decina Spa Baths

About

Decina spa baths pair Australian-made acrylic bathtubs with built-in hydrotherapy jets, giving you a targeted massage soak without the plumbing overhaul of a full spa retrofit. The range spans single-ended and back-to-wall shells from 1500mm to 1700mm, each fitted with whirlpool or airbath jet systems depending on the model. If you want a bath that does more than hold water, this is where to start. What makes a Decina spa bath different Every Decina spa bath starts life as a standard acrylic shell, reinforced and drilled for jet placement, then fitted with a pump, controller and jet ring before it leaves the factory. That means the spa function is engineered in from the start rather than bolted on later. Decina builds its own shells in Australia, so wall thickness, gelcoat finish and jet placement are tuned specifically for each bath size rather than adapted from an imported mould. Whirlpool versus airbath jets Decina offers two spa mechanisms across the range. Whirlpool systems push water through directional jets for a firmer, more targeted massage against specific muscle groups, useful if you're dealing with lower back or shoulder tension. Airbath systems push aerated bubbles through a perforated base for a gentler, full-body effect that feels more like a warm cushion than a massage. Neither system holds standing water in the lines between uses. Decina's jet manifolds are self-draining, which matters for hygiene and is worth checking on any spa bath you compare against this range. Sizing and installation types The range covers back-to-wall models for a built-in, cabinetry-free look and freestanding-style drop-in shells for a more traditional tiled skirt installation. Lengths run from compact 1500mm shells suited to smaller ensuites through to 1700mm models for a main bathroom soak. Depth is a genuine consideration with spa models since the jet manifold sits below the base, so overall bath height typically runs 10 to 20mm deeper than an equivalent non-spa Decina sh
