Slide-on vampire plugs — also called Gilbert plugs — are the standard connectors for building custom Christmas light extension cords and socket wire runs. Press them onto cut SPT1 or SPT2 zipcord wire with no tools, no wire stripping, and no soldering — the pierced tooth design (hence the moniker "vampire plug") bites through the insulation and locks in place. The Christmas Light Emporium carries the full range: male and female end plugs, female inline pass-through plugs for mid-run branch connections, splicer plugs for joining wire sections, and the triple tap for splitting one power run into three.
