About
The TaylorMade M2 is a cavity-back game-improvement iron built for distance. It was released in 2016 and updated in 2017, and it's the bigger, more forgiving sibling to the compact M1. A thin face, low centre of gravity and a Speed Pocket in the sole of the long and mid irons help the ball launch high and fast, even on strikes low on the face. The 2017 version added Face Slots for more ball speed on heel and toe mis-hits. That combination is why it's still a popular pick for golfers wanting easy distance. Key specs: Cavity-back game-improvement distance iron Thin-wall Speed Pocket in the sole (long and mid irons) Fluted hosel saves weight to lower the centre of gravity Face Slots and Geocoustic sound tuning (2017 model) Released in 2016 and 2017 versions Player type: Mid to high handicap All units are inspected, photographed and graded before listing. Pick your configuration below. The main accuracy point is that Face Slots were only added in the 2017 model; the original 2016 M2 had the Speed Pocket but not the face slots, per GolfWRX . Geocoustic tuning was also new for 2017. I've flagged both as 2017-only so buyers of a 2016 set aren't misled.
