The Adeptus Custodes, also known as the Emperor’s Custodians, are an elite force of genetically-enhanced super-soldiers tasked with the protection of the Emperor of Mankind himself. Unlike the more widespread Space Marine Chapters, the Custodes are a far smaller, yet vastly more powerful force, with each warrior being a paragon of strength, skill, and unwavering loyalty. Created by the Emperor himself during the Great Crusade, the Custodes are both warriors and guardians, entrusted with protecting the Emperor's palace on Terra and safeguarding humanity’s most sacred sites.
