Designed by Magnus Long for TCS, the Gather collection comprises dining tables and benches in solid European Oak or American Walnut. Made to order, each piece is available in a choice of oiled or lacquered finish, with knots left natural or filled - a detail that shifts the character of the grain considerably. Gather uses timber that is often overlooked by the industry for not being perfectly straight or for containing knots and cracks. Left exposed rather than disguised, these markings vary from piece to piece, giving each table and bench its own grain, colour and character. making each piece truly distinctive. Named for the simple act of bringing people together, Gather is defined by an exposed through-tenon joint - a detail that is structural as much as it is visual. Designed for everyday use, each piece is built to endure and is available in over 280 configurations, with a lead time of 10–12 weeks.
