Brass hose fittings for pneumatic, hydraulic and general fluid transfer systems. The range covers hex nipples, reducers, elbows, tees, unions and adaptors in BSPP and BSPT thread forms across a range of sizes. Brass is the default material for most general-purpose hose fittings in the UK market: it machines cleanly, threads reliably, and holds up well to water, air and most light chemicals. It is not suitable for acetylene or some corrosive environments. All fittings in this range use British Standard Pipe (BSP) thread forms. Male fittings thread into female ports; BSPP (parallel) threads need an O-ring or bonded seal to seal the joint, while BSPT (tapered) threads seal on the taper itself, typically with PTFE tape. Confirm the thread form used by your equipment before ordering.
