About
Growlink brings crop steering to rooms that are not commercial facilities. Substrate sensors read what is actually happening inside the medium - water content, EC, temperature - and the Precision Irrigation Controller uses those readings to decide when to feed, rather than running a fixed timer and hoping. It is the difference between irrigating on a schedule and irrigating on demand. Precision Irrigation Controller: Available as the unit alone or bundled with 1, 2 or 4 sensors, and with the ESM3 climate sensor. See all irrigation systems . Substrate sensors: The Terralink moisture sensor with 2m M8 cable and the Acclima TDR310W substrate sensor for water content, EC and temperature at the root zone. Climate sensing: The ESM3 Eco Climate Sensor on SDI-12, plus the LINKS Canopy Link - browse meters and sensors . Cabling and adapters: M8 extension cables at 5m, M8 to bare tinned lead transition cables, the Teros12 adapter and a sensor alignment tool for consistent placement. Bundles: The LINKS irrigation bundle brings the controller and sensing together in one package. Why choose Growlink? Crop steering only works if you can see inside the medium. Timer-driven irrigation either overwaters early in the cycle or underwaters late, because plant demand changes daily while the timer does not. Substrate sensing closes that gap, and it is the single biggest step up in run-to-waste growing. Growlink FAQs What is crop steering? Deliberately using irrigation timing and dryback to push a plant toward vegetative or generative growth. It depends entirely on knowing the substrate water content, which is what these sensors measure. Where do I place the sensor? In the root zone of a representative plant, at consistent depth and angle - the alignment tool exists because inconsistent placement makes readings meaningless. Why buy Growlink from The Hydro Bros? We stock the Growlink range in full, ship discreetly across the UK and Europe, and know these products because we use them. With
