About

Grow tents between 201cm and 300cm wide are multi-fixture territory. At this size you are running two or more lights, and the tent stops being a piece of furniture and starts being a room you have to plan around - power, extraction, and getting the thing through the door. Common sizes in this range Size Fixtures Plants Extraction 240 x 120cm 2 8-10 6-8in 240 x 240cm 4 12-16 8in 300 x 150cm 2-3 10-12 8in 300 x 200cm 3-4 12-16 8in 300 x 300cm 4-6 16+ 8-10in What changes at this size Frame gauge starts to matter. Two or three fixtures plus an 8in filter is real weight. This is where the step from 16mm to 22mm or 25mm poles earns its money - the difference between Bud Box Lite and Pro at the same footprint. Extraction has to keep up. An 8in fan and filter is the norm. Undersizing here is the most common mistake and it shows up as heat and odour together. See carbon filters and extraction fans . Check your power. Three 600W fixtures plus fans and a dehumidifier is a serious draw on a domestic ring main. Worth working out before you order. Access. Measure your doorway and stairs. A 300 x 300 box is long. One big tent or two smaller ones? Two 120 x 120 tents give you separate veg and flower spaces and let you run a perpetual cycle. One 240 x 240 gives you a single climate to manage and better light overlap in the middle. If you only ever flower, go big. If you want to veg and flower at once, two tents is usually the better setup. Why buy large grow tents from The Hydro Bros? We are a hydroponics shop in Croydon, so these are tents we handle and build rather than drop-ship.
