Freyja is a family-owned chocolate and licorice confectioner in Kópavogur, Iceland. This collection brings together its classics: Draumur and Rósa Draumur, Djúpur licorice, Freyju möndlur and chocolate pearls, and the Rís chocolate bar. What is Draumur? Draumur means "dream" in Icelandic — soft licorice wrapped in milk chocolate, and one of the country's most popular candy bars. If you're new to the chocolate-and-licorice pairing that Icelanders adore, Draumur is the gentle way in; Djúpur, chocolate-coated licorice pieces, is the natural next step for converts.
