This is the sweater Icelandic farmers, sailors and hikers actually wear: knitted by hand, built for weather, and good for decades if you treat it kindly. The wool does the work. Icelandic sheep grow a double fleece — an insulating inner coat and a wind- and water-resistant outer coat — and lopi yarn keeps both.
