Stand-alone sensors let a light you already own switch itself on, so the driveway lights up as someone walks in and nothing gets left burning until morning. The range covers PIR motion sensors and detectors, which read body heat using passive infrared, plus microwave sensors and dusk to dawn photocells, for residential and commercial use. Detection runs from about 1.5 metres at a doorway up to around 24 metres across a workshop, with IP20 through to IP66 ratings.
