Alicia Racovolis

Alicia Racovolis is an interior designer and creative director based in Paris, working across interiors, furniture and collectible objects. With a background in art history, her practice is grounded in materiality, atmosphere and the dialogue between historical reference and contemporary form. Her objects emerge as an extension of her interior work—sculptural yet functional pieces conceived to bring weight, character and permanence to a space. Drawing on the craft traditions of the early twentieth century and working closely with craftspeople and makers, she favours materials and processes that retain evidence of the hand. Her work reflects an ongoing interest in material memory and objects that transcend time.
