Element Wire - At Euclids we use only high grade Kanthal Heating Alloys. Because of its high-temperature rating, almost all Pottery Kilns are made with an Iron Chrome Aluminum Alloy like Kanthal's A1 wire. In other applications, other alloys can be a better choice. When better form stability is required and temperature requirements are slightly lower, a Nickel Chrome Alloy like Nikrothal 80 can be desirable.
