About
The fixture is the one thing in a room nobody can ignore and almost nobody gets right. Hung well, it sets the ceiling height, the era and the manners of everything underneath it. Crystal and gilt, tole and painted metal, hall lanterns, faux bamboo and rattan, beaded and capiz shell, in every size from a powder room pendant to something that can hold a two-storey stair.
