With very limited resources, our first instruments were crafted from reclaimed spruce—wood salvaged from Glenn's 1942 house renovation. What started as necessity quickly became our signature. The remarkable resonance and lively acoustic response of spruce convinced us to keep building with it. As every guitar helped us improve our workshop and refine our craft, Bluebox grew from a small passion project into a respected boutique builder. In 2021, after renowned Swedish guitarist Ola Gustavsson played one of our guitars on Swedish national television, we introduced our own design: Origin . This marked the beginning of a new chapter—creating our own models and pickups while staying true to the craftsmanship and tone that inspired us from the very beginning. Glenn & Fredrik
