About

Pipe screens and screen bowls from Thick Ass Glass: glass bong slides with a pinched or disc screen built in, tri screen slides, 20mm brass mesh screens, and glass rolling tips with a screen. A screen keeps ash and small pieces in the bowl, so they don't get pulled down the stem and clog your pipe. Types of pipe and bong screens Type How it works Examples Pinched screen The glass at the bottom of the bowl is pinched inward to leave small gaps. Nothing loose to lose or replace. Pinched Screen Slide with Handle , Raised Handle , 3 Pinch Slide (10mm) Disc screen A glass disc with one to five holes is fused into the bowl. Disc Screen Slide with Horn Handle , Multi Hole Disc Screen Slide , Fine Built In Disc Screen Slide Tri screen A screen bowl with a 16x46mm horn handle. A loose metal screen costs very little and fits bowls that have no screen, but it clogs and bends over time and has to be replaced. Sizes and joints Our screen slides come in 10mm, 14mm and 18mm male, plus a few female slides for pieces with a male joint. Match the slide to your bong's joint size. If you're not sure which you have, read how to measure bong bowl size , or see every bowl on the bong bowls and slides page. Pipe screen FAQ Do glass pipes need screens? Not always.
