Parsnips grow well alongside radishes, onions, garlic, lettuce, and spinach. Radishes are especially useful for marking slow-germinating rows, while shallow-rooted greens won’t compete for space. Avoid planting near other carrots or members of the carrot family to reduce shared pest pressure.
