Tiger Medical supplies a variety of applicator types to help meet the need of both you and your patient. Cotton tipped applicators, tongue depressors, cervical scrapers, wooden applicators and spoons are all available. They are of good quality and at great prices. Cotton Tipped Applicators Cotton tipped applicators are generally used for wound care, to apply medication, and for diagnostic use. You can choose between sterile and non-sterile applicators for your specific needs. Dynarex offers a non-sterile option which is packaged 100 per bag, and altogether comes with 10,000 applicators per case. It comes with an option of a 3" or 6" cotton tipped applicator. Dynarex also sells a mouth and throat applicator made of plastic with a cotton tip, which is designed to be the perfect size to comfortably collect a specimen sampling for your patient. The Cotton-Tipped Applicators from Covidien/Kendall are single-tipped and have a wooden stick. They come in lengths of 3" and 6", and have an option of purchasing various quantities per case. Polyester Tipped Applicators These applicators are great for use in specimen and cell collection and testing for flus and viruses. Solon's Aluminum Shaft Collection Swabs are made of Dacron fiber which does not absorb moisture and therefore ensures that the specimen stays within the mesh of the applicator. You can choose from several options for your desired quantity. The Serrated Plastic Shaft Swab , also from Solon, are high-quality diagnostic swabs that minimize contamination and irritation and can be used for rapid viral testing. Options for this product include a choice of a standard or scored shaft.
