The exclusive Antimicrobial Foam Disc is a Polyhexamethylene Biguanide (PHMB) (a strong but safe antiseptic) impregnated foam disc that creates a barrier of protection for catheter insertion sites. The foam dressing absorbs exudates while PHMB targets and kills bacteria on contact. The Xtrasorb foam dressing is made from a super absorbent foam that makes the dressing highly absorbent.
