STEP 3 : CHOOSE HARDWARE AND FOOT PADS HARDWARE Choose either the normal duty or heavy duty dock post mounting system components. Only Tommy Docks offers a choice of components for both normal and extreme water conditions. Use the heavy duty diameter dock post mounting system components if the installation site includes: Strong currents or winds Docking larger boats Heavy boat activity Water depth over 8' FOOT PADS Use standard foot pads for hard lake bottoms (sand or gravel) Muckpads are designed for soft lake bottoms (muck) Use auger feet for soft soil lake bottoms that extend 12' deep or more Auger feet may also be used to stiffen the dock in areas with high winds or boat activity SHOP ALL MOUNTING HARDWARE
