Dana 53 Semi-Float 9-1/4" ring gear rear axles were used by Jeep in 1957-1967 FC170 single rear wheel trucks and many 1962-1971 J-Series pickups with Gross Vehicle Weights up to 7600 pounds. The Dana 53 was built in a pure form with Dana 53 center and wheel ends and as a hybrid that used a Dana 44 center and Dana 53 wheel ends. We can supply some service parts for the Model 53, but most major parts for these axles are long gone.
